Selma Steele’s Shawl Lecture and Birthday Party

Although we don’t think she’d like to spread it around, Mrs. Selma Steele is turning 150! Join us for Selma’s signature Shawl Lecture in the Visitor Center from 11:15 to noon, check out a few of Selma’s personal shawls in the Large Studio, then celebrate her 150th birthday with cake and ice cream beginning at noon.

Experience the thrills and chills from spooky storytelling by the Bloomington Storytellers Guild during an evening under the stars. Pack a flashlight, a blanket and a picnic to enjoy while hearing famous and local ghost stories near the cemetery located at the site.
