On the afternoon of December 8, 2019 the historic site hosted Steele’s Country Christmas. Visitors were welcomed into the fully decorated historic studio and house to experience an Indiana Christmas in the 1920’s!

This article was written in conjunction with the exhibit “Indiana Impressions: The Art of T.C. Steele”, an exhibition at the Eugene and Marilyn Glick Indiana History Center in Indianapolis from April 21, 2016 to July 7, 2016. A special new edition of the book titled “The House of the Singing Winds” accompanied the exhibit. The book features 75 full color painting images as well as an essay about Selma Neubacher Steele by Rachel Berenson Perry.
