Volunteer of the Year
We are happy to announce Kathy Truelove-Barton has been nominated by the historic site and supported by the Friends board of directors as our 2021 Volunteer of the Year. Karen is a familiar face at the site for both staff and visitors. Beyond her contributions at the historic site, Kathy also volunteers for the Friends Annual Member Art Show (now in its 10th year), and was the organizer for the 2021 Paint Out at the T.C. Steele Boyhood Home.
Business Partner of the Year
This award was created in 2020 to recognize business partner who has made a meaningful impact on the success of Friends of T.C. Steele. This year’s Business Partner of the Year recognizes Smart Scale Consulting (Jeanette Renshaw, Principal).
Jeanette and her company played an instrumental role in transforming our membership database and how we connect, interact, and communicate with our members. We now have reliable, fully integrated cloud-bases system that has automated at previous manual system of records.
