Friends of T.C. Steele made a financial contribution of $37,000 in 2021 for some much needed painting on several buildings at the historic site. These buildings include House of the Singing Winds, the Little Studio and Cabin. If you have not visited recently, the site has never looked better! Be sure to visit soon…
Electric Vehicle Charger
Friends of T.C. Steele made a financial contribution in 2021 to cover the cost of an electric vehicle (EV) charger that is now available at the T.C. Steele State historic Site. The charger is located on the south end of the visitor parking lot. Thanks to the Indiana State Museum and Historic sites for enabling this long-standing goal of Friends to become a reality.
Golf Carts
Friends of T.C. Steele made a financial contribution of $28,000 in 2021 for the purchase of two 6-seater golf carts to improve accessibility for visitors at the site. This has been in our strategic plan (Strategic Priority #1, Initiative 1.2). We are very pleased to have achieved this milestone.
